LSC-North Harris was granted depository status in 1974. All patrons are welcome to browse our collection of Government documents in print or access government information digitally via library computers. For assistance with government information, ask the Librarians at the Reference Desk.
The Office of Water "ensures drinking water is safe, and restores and maintains oceans, watersheds, and their aquatic ecosystems to protect human health, support economic and recreational activities, and provide healthy habitat for fish, plants and wildlife." They are responsible for implementing the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act as well as other such water-related statutes.
