Although a majority of legal research is now conducted online using legal databases like Westlaw or Lexis, it is still helpful to know how to locate research in the print books. This guide will walk through how to use the print books to find case reports, legislation and various secondary sources including a print Citator series.

Print Books: Legal Reference Collection

Legal Reference Collection

The Legal Reference Collection is located on the 2nd floor of the LSC-North Harris Library in the Quiet Study area. 

All reference books must remain in the Library.

Please note that the collection is a "Teaching Collection" for student practice only and should not be cited for legal information. The collection is no longer being updated in print, so please be sure to consult Westlaw for the latest information.
