You can use any sort of device to take a picture of your work - camera, cell phone, tablet. Make sure that the drawing is well lit and that there are no shadows on it.
For the best quality, consider using a document scanner. The library has a number of scanners that you can use - click here for information. When using a scanner, make sure to save the scan as a JPEG or PNG.
