Making an Appointment

Makerspace Equipment

Currently all Makerspace Equipment use is by appointment only - no walk-ins. Use this form to make an appointment to use Makerspace Equipment.

One Button Studio

Use this form to schedule time in the One Button Studio. The One Button Studio may be used by Lone Star College Students, Faculty, and Staff. The studio may be booked a maximum of 3 hours each day, up to 1 week in advance. Bookings must be made 24 hours in advance. Other conditions may apply.

Sound Booth

Use this form to schedule time in the Sound Booth. The booth may be used by Lone Star College Students, Faculty, and Staff. The booth may be booked a maximum of 3 hours each day, up to 1 week in advance. Bookings must be made 24 hours in advance. Other conditions may apply.

Reserving for a Class

Reserving for a Class

The Makerspace, One Button Studio, and Sound Booth can be reserved by Faculty for classes during the time the class meets and cannot be booked in a continuous recurrence (for example: Every Friday in May). Classes visiting the Makerspace should make use of tools in the Makerspace. Professors must remain with their classes while they are using the Makerspace, One Button Studio, and Sound Booth. Bookings for classes must be made two weeks in advance of the planned visit.

Reserving for a Event / Group Meeting / Club Meeting

Request to reserve the Makerspace, One Button Studio, and Sound Booth for non-class related activities may be made by faculty and staff, and will be granted on a case-by-case bases. In the request, it must be stated how Makerspace tools and equipment will be used during the event or meeting. Request will not be granted for continuous recurrences (for example: Every Friday in May). Advisors must remain with student organizations meeting in the Makerspace. Request must be made two weeks in advance of the planned visit.

Spring Early College Academey Students

Spring Early College Academy (SECA) Students are welcomed to used Makerspace equipment, the One Button Studio, and Sound Booth, but normal library procedures apply: Juniors  and Seniors may visit and make appointments for the Makerspace, One Button Studio, and Sound Booth like other Lone Star College Students. Freshmen and Sophomores must be accompanied by a teacher, professor, or guardian while in the Makerspace or using the One Button Studio or Sound Booth.
