HP DesignJet T790

Print posters and banners up to 24" wide. Great for presentations and poster sessions.

When creating your document, it may be no wider than 24 inches. For best results, size your document 24 inches by 18 or 36 inches. Save your document as a PDF on a USB Drive for printing.

Printing is currently free but limited to one poster and for academic use only. You do not need to make an appointment to use the printer, but because documents often need to be reformatted to print correctly an appointment is recommended.

Wide Format Poster Printer Templates

The following MS Word and PowerPoint templates are set with common document sizes. Download and then create your poster in them. Follow the directions here to save as a PDF or bring the saved files to the Makerspace and we will help you do this.

PowerPoint Template Portrait (Tall) 17in x 22 in
This is double the length and height of normal, Letter sized paper.
PowerPoint Template Portrait (Tall) 24in x 31 in
This is the widest that the printer can print and maintain the same proportions as Letter sized paper.
PowerPoint Template Landscape (Wide) 22in x 17in
This is double the length and height of normal, Letter sized paper.
PowerPoint Template Landscape (Wide) 24in x 18-5in
This is the widest that the printer can print and maintain the same proportions as Letter sized paper.
MS Word Template Portrait (Tall) 17in x 22 in
This is double the length and height of normal, Letter sized paper. This is the largest document you can create in Microsoft Word that keeps the same proportions as Letter sized paper.
MS Word Template Landscape (Wide) 22in x 17 in
