How to Make an Appointment for a Computer in the Library or Learning Center

How to Make a Computer or Study Space Appointment in the Library or Learning Center

  1. Choose whether you want to reserve a computer in the Library (3rd floor, Library Building) or the Learning Center (ACAD 200) to open the appropriate booking form.
  2. Each line on the form represents a different computer. Green squares are available times. Red squares are unavailable or already booked. Grey squares are times when the Library or Learning Center isn't open.

  1. Click on the time that you want to start your appointment. (Your appointment will appear in Yellow.)
  2. At the bottom of the chart, choose from the drop down menu when you want your appointment to end and click submit. (Maximum time is 2 hours).

  1. Read over the Terms and Conditions for using the computers.
  2. Confirm that the appointment details listed at the top of the form are what you want. If not, click the "Change" button to make changes.
  3. Complete the Booking Form with your name, student email address (my.lonestar.edu), phone number, and Student ID number. Give an explanation for your visit (i.e.- class assignment, online quiz, research, etc). Then, choose "Start My Booking"

  • After you complete your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email, which includes the number of the computer that you have booked, the day and time of your appointment, and a Check-in Code. Be sure to bring this with you when you come to the Library or Learning Center for your appointment.

Choose the link on the main page for the type of appointment that you want.

  1. Select the service you wish to use
  2. Select the date that you'd like to visit
  3. Select the time that you'd like to visit
  4. Select Continue

At the next screen, you will be asked to enter your name, contact information, and your LSC Student/Staff ID Number. For your email, you must use a lonestar.edu or my.lonestar.edu email address.
