Extended Reality for Faculty

Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality is the use of technology to make you feel as if you are in another world. Using techniques such as Stereoscopic Displays and Stereo Sound to fool the senses, users feel like they are really there - whether 'there' is in inside the human lung, in outer space, or walking through a famous panting. Through the use of special controllers and motion tracking sensors, users can interact with objects in this environment.
